Tilo grew up sitting in salon waiting areas, flipping through magazines choosing her favorite cuts and color, anxious for the day she might be the one behind the chair. Her moms close friends were hair stylists and the sights and sounds of the salon always brought her joy. After graduating in 2017 from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute, she immediately began an intensive apprenticeship where she studied advanced techniques and was tested on them rigorously.
Tilo is always excited about coloring and cutting. She loves anything that involves hair color because as an artist she feels hair has become a new medium for her to create with. She loves highlights, balayage, baby lights, and single processes. Tilo loves “sculpting” a haircut with shears, and using hair color to “contour” its shape. Advanced education is and always will be important to Tilo as she continues to sharpen her craft. She is ecstatic to build her clientele with Ella and Oz and looks forward to having you as a guest in her chair!
